For the cover of a novel exploring such an iconic character, I’d wanted an abstract image; something that would say everything I wanted known about Peter Pan, without displaying Pan himself. Eve’s work on the “Sword Flower” gave exactly the suggestion I’d hoped for, capturing what I’d call a proud loneliness inherent to being unique.
This was accomplished through constructive collaboration that was a true pleasure for me, thanks entirely to Eve’s dedication, understanding, and patience with my feedback on regular updates. Seeing the finished picture take shape, while being kept in the loop every step of the way, made the entire process easy and even educational. I could not have asked for a more professional effort, or a more personal passion.
